Munger Mode rating: 1 out of 5 — Strong Sell. Our own rating from the research report below, on business quality first: moat durability and management, with price separating the top three.
Recent Price: ~$34 per share (intraday range ~$27–$36 in early June; all-time high $59.00 on May 11, 2026; all-time low $19.20 on May 13, 2026) Net Asset Value (NAV): $7.31 per share as of March 31, 2026 We were asked to evaluate this security as we would any other — by the principles we have spent sixty years refining. We will do exactly that. But we must say at the outset that this is not the analysis of a business. RoboStrategy is not a company that makes a product, serves a customer, or earns a profit. It is a closed-end investment fund — a pool of capital that buys minority stakes in privately held robotics startups and then sells its own shares to the public at several times the value of what it holds. To analyze it as a "wonderful business with a durable moat" is to misunderstand what it is.
